The Friends of the Leland Cultural Arts Center (FLCAC) is a non-profit organization of volunteers charged with responsibility for fundraising to support development, maintenance and overall success of programs and projects of The Leland Cultural Arts Center in Leland, NC.

2025 FLCAC FUNDRAISER: Watercolor Workshop
Join Mark Polomchak for watercolor workshops at the Leland Cultural Arts Center on November 7 and 8, 2025 (9am - 4pm each day). Students can attend one day, or both (ticketed separately). On Saturday, Mark will lead students from start to completion in creating their own hummingbird watercolor portrait. On Sunday, Mark will offer the same step-by-step demonstration in painting a sea turtle! Both group and one-on-one instruction will be provided to students throughout each day. Lunch is included in ticket price.

FLCAC Board members present a new slab roller to the LCAC ceramic studio, purchased to enhance the experience for both instructors and participants.
FLCAC President, Doris Jean Young and LCAC staff member, Helen Dupuis present the 2021 Youth Art Month Best in Show award and scholarship to Ashton Turley of South Brunswick High School.
